We had an idea to develop a mobile application which helps to find accommodation for university students. Finding accommodation has become an annoying problem to most of university students by now.  Therefore our intended solution was make a platform to both students and accommodation suppliers so that they can fulfill their requirements.
 On 1st of March we had to change our intended idea after we receiving an Email that includes another great idea from our supervisor Dr. Rasika Dayarathne, We all discussed to develop that idea. The new idea is to develop a online money payment system which is mostly focused on underprivileged Communities. This system is rather differ with other existing payment gateways as we were proposed to implement this so that anyone can use this without having any bank accounts/credit cards.

SCS2102/ IS2002 Group Project- Group 25

On the 23rd of February 2015, our 2nd year officially commenced. The whole batch was divided into 34 groups each consisting of 6 members; 2 IS students and 4 CS students.
Anjana Nisal(CS) volunteered to be the group leader of group leader of group 25.
I (Thisumi Upendra-IS) joined in as the deputy leader.
Lasith Niroshan(CS), Shanika Edirisinghe(IS), Lahiru Rangitha(CS), Nadeesh Dilanga(CS) joined in as the other 4 members of our group. We'll be working together as one team throughout the 2nd year in order to do a successful group project.
Mr.Rasika Dayarathne was appointed as the supervisor of our group.We met him on 24th February 2015 to receive his guidance and to discuss which path we should head on to. Sir asked us to visit Dialog Ideamart and find out about the Apps and the facilities they provide. Following his instructions, we visited Dialog Ideamart on 26th February. We had a discussion with Mr.Shafraz Rahim and he provided us with the necessary information. Based on the ideas we gathered through the meeting with Mr.Shafraz, we all got together and discussed as to what we should do for our group project. Our main objective is to address an existing issue in the society giving it a workable solution through the IT knowledge that we possess.
